Summary:
Evanhoe and Associates is seeking a Journeyman CAC Card Operator to work onsite in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The Journeyman CAC Card Operator is responsible for verifying applicant identities, issuing Common Access Cards (CAC), and maintaining accurate transaction records. This role includes troubleshooting card issuance issues and ensuring adherence to all relevant security protocols. The operator supports secure personnel access to facilities and systems by facilitating compliant, efficient CAC operations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify applicant identities using valid documentation
- Issue CACs in accordance with policy and security standards
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of all CAC transactions
- Troubleshoot CAC issues and support end-users
- Coordinate with departments to ensure compliance with security policies
- Meticulous attention to detail for identity verification and record accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in data entry and computer applications
- Understanding of security practices and data integrity
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possess 3–5 years of experience with computer systems and data entry
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification, such as the GED
- Possess the ability to pass a Public Trust investigation
- Background in customer service or administrative roles
- Proficiency in data entry and recordkeeping
- Familiarity with military customs, courtesies, and protocols
- Experience in security or access control
- Knowledge of CAC issuance systems and processes
- Relevant security certifications
